Hello, It's 11:10p.m. on Thursday! Close enough! It's been a fun week. I've been reconnecting and spending time with friends past and present. It makes everything brighter. Steve and I have also been proverbial couch potatoes watching all the premier shows this week. (I'm not scratching yet. But it's only the first episodes.) Friday I will be arranging flowers with Dana for Open Book, going shopping at art stores, and going to Taekwondo. Hi-YA. I sparred last night... my bootie was kicked by a brown belt. Thank goodness for protective gear. My lone sunflower I've been growing from seed bloomed yesterday. I was really happy. It's a tiny yellow flower! Love, Lolo

Hello there, It was a fast weekend! I can't believe fall is this week! I love autumn, though. I went to taekwondo on Friday and am preparing for my purple belt. I also attended a jewelry party for a friend. It was good to see her and other library friends. Saturday Steve and I did stuff around here at home, including attacking a hairy lawn and work projects. Then we attended a friend's house in Kalamazoo. We are so proud of our family friend Craig, his new digs are wonderful! Sunday we returned home, did stuff around here, and watched Moulin Rouge, the eye-candy-theatre-musical about a love story starring a courtesan and a writer. Now it's 4 a.m. and I can't sleep. Worry worry worry. Have a good week, Love Lolo

Hi there, I played library on Saturday and Sunday. I also had fabulous coffee tawk with a dear friend of mine. Now I am home, drinking tomato juice (I've been on a vegetable juice kick lately),chomping on celery sticks, and keeping my cats calm while other kitties are visiting from outdoors. And poor Steve has cooties, too. A-CHOOO! (Sniff) I'm getting ready to gear up for taekwondo, eight more classes and I will be eligible to test for purple. Hi-YA! More Later! Have a good week! Love, Lolo

Hi There, I hope you are having a great weekend. Mine is going by so quickly! I worked both Friday and Saturday (to cover vacation) and then I am off today and tomorrow. Steve and I booked to Gravel Lake on Saturday night since Anne and David were still up there. We chowed on steak, baked beans, and fresh veggies, then we jumped in the hot tub and made our own bubbles (KIDDING!) It was relaxing under the stars. Then today I slept in, Anne and David left early (sniff) and Steve and I went for a bike ride around the lake--about 3 or 4 miles. Mom, Dad, Steve, and I were invited to a party down the beach... it was a vodka party and a costume party (wear a hat). I finally sported my black feathered vintage hat with a cool theatre shirt and gap khakis. I'm starting to get over the crowd shyness. We stayed for awhile and then returned to the sanctuary of my book. I finished The Westing Game. It was a great read. I love Turtle, one of the main characters. She's a thirteen year old brainy girl who listens to the stock reports and bites calves as a hobby. Steve and I left around 6:30p.m. and greeted the kitties. We watched Enter the Dragon with Bruce Lee. He was an amazing martial artist. I can't believe I've had this bloggie for a year now! This is my 76th post. Hope you are well and if you get a chance, please feel free to use the comment box. That way, I know you are reading! TTYL, Love Lolo

Hi Kids, It's 4a.m. I'm tossing and turning like a flounder.(I'm not sure how a flounder actually tosses, but it sounds right.) I will have to take a nap after I leave work today so I can do Tae Kwon Do. I wish I could flip my brain off like a switch for a few hours. Anyhoo... Happy September! Love, Lolo
