Happy Friday

Hi, there-- It's weird with Steve at G-Fest. He's been adequately (but not unkindly) tormented for his enthusiasm for the con. I'm not sure I like the run of the house so much, even though the laptop, the television remote, and the upstairs bathroom are always free. Nope. Don't like it at all. I do hope he's having a good time and gets his G-Fest self back home ASAP! Taekwondo was fun last night. We worked on nunchakus and bow staff forms. I need to start focusing on brown belt. That's my next belt. My journey is going quickly. I'm reading a New English Version of Tao Te Ching. Lao-tzu was an insightful person. Translated by Stephen Mitchell, I leave you with a passage: Fill your bowl to the brim and it will spill. Keep sharpening your knife and it will blunt. Chase after money and security and your heart will never unclench. Care about people's approval and you will be their prisoner. Do your work, then step back. The only path to serenity. Ouch.
