This was a great beach read for Labor Day weekend. I enjoy Elizabeth Adler's reads, so I pulled this book off the new shelf at the library and checked it out! Warning: this mini-review has a slight spoiler alert.
Elizabeth Alder writes another adventurous story on the water about PI Mac Reilly, his gorgeous girlfriend Sunny Alvarez,and a Hollywood starlet named Allie Ray. There is murder, romance, suspense, and travel, but I was most happy reading about the pets in the story. This book is stars Pirate the one-eyed, three-legged mutt, Tesoro the feisty chihuahua, Fussy the miniature Maltese, and Dearie and Frankie.
