On Saturday, Steve took Latte to the v-e-t for her annual shots while I attended taekwondo class. I was so thrilled I had the opportunity to teach two classmates three of the taegeuk forms! Anyway, when I returned and said hello to Steve, the poor man literally had five or six large holes in his gray t-shirt. Apparently, Saturday mornings are extremely busy, and there were several large dogs in the waiting room. Poor Latte was spooked and does not understand the concept of soft paws meaning using no claws. (We borrowed that cute term from friends). Latte crawled all over Steve and Steve now has battle scars all over his arms and torso. Poor Latte, poor Steve. Next time, she will be transported in the carrier. (Jack prefers to be carried; Java has to be in the carrier as well). Today after churchland, Steve and I traveled up to Gravel Lake to see my parents. We wandered into the vineyard and into the woods next to a lake off of the lake. We were searching for more deer, but did not find any. We found a butterfly and beautiful scenery. Dad took us for a cruise around the lake and into the channel (Mom was too sick to go but insisted we go ahead). The sky was a brilliant shade of blue with white pillow clouds and there was a slight breeze containing the zephyr of wine from the vineyards.
