Tuesday Afternoon: Drafty Hospital Gowns and An Encounter with Dr. Snark, a Vitriolic ER Physician

It's 2:58 a.m. and this HSP (Highly Sensitive Person) is still seething from my experience at the ER. So, instead of tossing and turning in bed and risk awakening Steve and Moshi, I quietly descend down the stairs, turn on my trusty and over-used Hewlitt-Packard laptop, and start drafting this post. Sakura and Java greet me in the living room; Java, my eldest Lady Cat and home supervisor, settled down on the couch near me.

Sherlock Holmes

Today I'll be at the River Park Branch Library facilitating a book discussion on The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes by Sir Conan Arthur Doyle. It's for the One Book, One Michiana program sponsored by the St. Joseph County Public Library. The participants will be seventh graders from the community. I'm looking forward to the book discussion: it will be a mystery!

ArtPost Marathon

It's that time of year again! It is the third annual ArtPost Poetry Marathon. I'll be reading in the early evening (5:15p.m.). I am looking forward to meeting and listening to new writers, reading new poetry, and seeing Jake and Kay again. I hope to see you there! There's a suggested $5.00 donation at the door. Everyone is welcome to attend!

Happy Easter

Here's a charming photo of one of the many rabbits who hang out in our backyard. Wishing you and yours a very Happy Easter!

Year of the Book

I had such a frustrating day yesterday that I forgot that it was the one year anniversary of the book! Steve and I have had a lot of fun with the experience and we aspire to have another good year. Thanks to all who have supported us through this adventure! -xo
