YWCA Luncheon: Tribute to Women

Hi!

This was such a lovely day. My mother totally blew me away. She paid and shopped with me for my suit, she paid for the hair appointment prior to the luncheon, and then she surprised me by attending the luncheon with a friend! My handsome husband took time off work and dressed in a suit!

Although I didn't win Woman of the Year, I was celebrated as an honoree with a flower corsage, a certificate, and a beautiful lunch with the wonderful administrators and coordinators and colleagues!

In a way, I was glad I didn't win because there were two of us in the same category of Arts, Literature, and Culture. So at the table the three of us are all winners.
