Monday with Maisy

Today was tense. I was waiting at work all day for the prognosis. No call. I flinched every time the phone rang. I called the hospital numerous times and stopped by Mom's room twice. I checked out this darling picture book and read Mom a bedtime story. It's a new release called Maisy Goes to the Hospital by Lucy Cousins. In the story, Maisy breaks her right leg (Mom's right leg had the clot).

I think she enjoyed the bedtime story, except she turned over and went to sleep.
