April Snow Globe

"Sometimes it snows in April." - Prince

Since April first,
this month has been
like a snowstorm;
and I have been
existing
in a snow globe
of sorts;
I am looking
at the sky
waiting again
for the
clouds to form;
and the universe
to shake
the snow globe
once again;
and only
when I paused,
and took my eyes
off the sky,
did the snow globe
shake again.
