I found a list today (courtesy of Magraine Pet Pedical Center) about what general foods are off limits to animals. This is limited to cats and dogs. Some of the items surprised me. I'm putting the list on my fridge. Cats alcohol baby food containing onion powder chocolate grapes/raisins milk and other dairy caffeinated products marijuana potato, rhubarb, and tomato raw eggs raw fish salt onions and garlic in any form sugary foods tobacco xylitol found in sugar free chewing gum Dogs alcohol baby food containing onion powder bones of any sort cat food chocolate caffeinated products citrus oil extracts fat trimmings grapes/raisins human vitamin supplements containing iron large amounts of liver macadamia nuts marijuana milk and other dairy mushrooms onions and garlic in any form pits from peaches and plums potato, rhubarb, and tomato raw eggs raw fish salt sugary foods table scraps tobacco yeast dough xylitol found in sugar free chewing gum
