Last Night of a Decade

 It's almost 10 p.m. and at midnight, I will turn 50. 

It's surreal. I've been celebrating for the last couple of days with friends and family. I was surprised yesterday. It was humbling and overwhelming and I'm so grateful. 

I am hopeful for what the new decade will bring. I know for certain that I will arrive sober.
