Thanksgiving Weekend (So Far)
Hello. I hope you are enjoying your holiday weekend. I should be participating in an online wellness breakout room but received a rather frosty un-welcome, so I pressed the leave meeting option. (These days, I'd rather be alone than uncomfortable, but I'm not really alone. Moshi Bean is sleeping blissfully on the bed next to me. At her advanced age, I'll happily accept the cuddles.)
On Thursday, Steve and I enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and extended family. (Marci and Kevin, we're overdue to spend some time together. I'm sorry to miss you this year.)
On Friday, we lunched with extended family at Hacienda, and then stopped at one of my favorite places, Beauty Bull Vintage. It's one of my favorite places because Hanah is one of my dear friends, and she continues to inspire me with her creativity. I will often select vintage jewelry pieces to affix into my soft sculpture pieces.
This afternoon and evening, I rested. I planned to add more items to my Etsy store (Loetry), grade more student assignments, and clean, but the tired physical body wins out over the very busy mind, so I slept. We're planning to spend tomorrow with family and attempt to hike if it's not too frigid outside.
I hope the rest of your weekend is peaceful: be safe and well.
